Kristine Lundgren, Sc.D., CCC-SLP is Associate Professor in the Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG).
She received her BA from the University of Connecticut and her MS and Sc.D. from Boston University. Dr. Lundgren completed an NIH postdoctoral fellowship in Aphasiology at the Harold Goodglass Aphasia Research Center. In 2004, Dr Lundgren completed an internship in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) at the Center for Mindfulness, a program in the Division of Preventive and Behavioral Medicine, Department of Medicine, at the University of Massachusetts Medical School..
Dr. Lundgren’s research interests include cognitive-linguistic disorders secondary to traumatic brain injury (TBI) and stroke, intimate partner violence (IPV) related TBI, and the use of Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) to treating communication disorders. In addition, she is interested in how study abroad experiences influence professional growth and development.
