The Ph.D. is a 66 credit hour degree, 54 credit hours of coursework and 12 dissertation credit hours.

  • 21 credit hours of “tool courses” which include statistics, teaching courses, teaching practicum and grant writing course
  • 12 credit hours of an “intersecting discipline” which is your minor area of study
  • 3 credit hours of a professional seminar course
  • 12 dissertation credit hours
